Your port, on every handler's map.

When a vessel in your port has a claim, handlers on MarinAtlas see you first. You attend, act for the principal and report from the same place.

How work reaches you.

  1. 01One profileYour port, the area you cover and your rates. Handlers see your rates next to your name.
  2. 02A request in your portYou get an anonymised brief first: claim type, area, what is needed. You confirm you have no conflict and send a bid.
  3. 03AppointedThe confidential details open: vessel, parties, documents. From here the job has its own conversation with the handler.

A field app built for the deck.

On board you have one free hand, bad light and no signal. The field app is made for that. It is coming to iOS, and the same survey screen runs in the browser today.

Talk instead of typing
Record what you see as you walk the deck. The recording is transcribed when you end the session and stays with the claim.
Photos that know where they belong
The shutter is on the recording screen. Every photo is tagged to the session, at the moment you took it.
No signal, no problem
Everything is saved on the phone first and uploaded when you are back in range.
The checklist on the same screen
The claim's checklist opens from the recorder. Tick it off, or add your own checks, while you work.
You decide what is shared
When you end a session you choose what the handler sees: the transcript, each photo, or nothing yet.

The attendance report starts as a draft.

MarinAtlas drafts your attendance report from your sessions and the documents on file. You edit it, sign it and submit it.

Drafted from your record
Your sessions and the documents on the claim. Nothing else.
Gaps are marked, not invented
Where the evidence is missing the draft says [to be confirmed] and leaves it to you.
One section at a time
Ask Atlas to write Findings from your sessions, or to describe what your photos show.
Signed, then approved
The handler sees the report only when you submit it. They approve it and rate it.

What you can count on.

You see the brief before you commit
Requests are anonymised. Vessel, parties and documents open only when you are appointed.
Your working notes stay yours
A handler sees a report when you submit it, not while you are drafting it.
Fees stay in their own currency
A fee is kept in the currency it was quoted in. Bids are never converted or compared across currencies.
A cancelled job is not a free job
If a handler cancels a job you have started, you can request a cancellation fee within 14 days.

Ask for an invite.

MarinAtlas is opening to correspondents by invitation while the pilots run in the Netherlands, Türkiye and the United Kingdom.
